strooptest.app provides a free browser-based version of the Stroop colour-word test. Features, run lengths, and availability may change at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The test is provided for education, self-measurement, and entertainment only. Results are affected by your device, environment, sleep, and other factors, and cannot diagnose or rule out any medical, neurological, or psychological condition. They are not a substitute for assessment by a qualified professional.

You agree not to:

• Misuse the site, disrupt the service, or interfere with our systems
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access in ways that harm the service
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

The Stroop task as a psychological method is not owned by anyone. The strooptest.app name, this implementation's code, visual design, and site content are owned by strooptest.app or its licensors. You may use the test for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content without permission.

Your run history — best scores, reaction times, accuracy, streaks, and recent runs — may be stored in your browser on your device. Clearing browser data can erase that history. We are not responsible for lost local data.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, page views and test-related events). This helps us improve strooptest.app. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

The site and test are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, strooptest.app and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or history, arising from your use of the site or test.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
